Service Description

RISING GAZE advises authors, directors, producers, and professionals in the cultural and media industries on the contemporary representation of women, BIPOC, people with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ individuals in film and on stage. The service includes a 75-minute consultation with one of our experts on a topic of your choice via video conference or telephone. A personal consultation is particularly helpful if you are in the early stages of a project and want to avoid stereotypical representation from the outset, reflect the diversity of society, or draw on the personal experience of one of our consultants. This format is also ideal if you have only a few or basic questions on a topic, or if you simply want to clarify a few terms or short passages of text. Following the consultation, you will also receive written notes and recommendations addressing your specific questions.
