Luis Brandt started his first YouTube channel "Luisespa" at the age of twelve to educate people about his life with a disability and to campaign for greater participation. The channel was voted channel of the week by "WuzzUp" in 2016. In 2018, his first radio show "Brandt redet - Smalltalk im Detail!" went live, which is also available on all audio streaming services.

 

Luis completed his training as a commercial assistant for media management and production at the BMK in Hamburg, where he also completed his vocational baccalaureate in design in 2022. This gave Luis valuable insights into the commercial aspects of the media industry, such as marketing, project management, media technology and media law. He then worked as an assistant for press, public relations and media production at EUCREA e.V.

 

As an actor, Luis celebrated a great success with his first leading role in "Beben" in 2022 as part of the "Directors Fortnite" at the international film festival in Cannes. In 2023, the film won the Audience Award for Best Short Film at the Schleswig-Holstein Film Festival.

 

Luis supports RISING GAZE as project manager in marketing, fundraising and crowdfunding. He also works as an actor, video producer, presenter, copywriter and as a consultant and speaker on the subject of diversity and inclusion.
