GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Scope of application
These terms and conditions apply to workshops offered and organised by RISING GAZE GmbH.

Registration conditions
By submitting the booking form, your registration is binding and your workshop place is firmly reserved for you. The contract is concluded when you submit the booking form on our website.

By registering, you give your freely revocable consent to the computerised processing and storage of your registration data. RISING GAZE GmbH reserves the right to make information about participants (e.g. name, company, position, contact details for contact tracing purposes, if applicable) available to lecturers and venue providers on site, unless consent to this has been expressly revoked in writing.

Reservation of changes
RISING GAZE GmbH reserves the right to make necessary changes or deviations in terms of content, methodology and organisation before or during the event, provided that this does not significantly alter the benefits of the announced event for participants. RISING GAZE GmbH is entitled to replace the scheduled lecturers with other persons equally qualified in the announced topic if necessary.

In the event of a postponement of the date, participants have the right to withdraw from their registration within 14 days of the announcement of the date by sending a written notification to RISING GAZE GmbH (by email). If they do not make use of this right, their silence will be considered a binding registration for the seminar on the new date, without the need for further confirmation by RISING GAZE GmbH.

Right of withdrawal
When booking online, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded (booking via the booking form) and ends no later than 14 days before the start of the workshop. The right of withdrawal expires prematurely if the workshop begins within the 14-day period or is booked less than 14 days before the start of the event. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (RISING GAZE GmbH, Marienburger Str. 5/5a, 10405 Berlin, email: info@rising-gaze.com) of your decision to withdraw from the contract. In the event of an effective withdrawal, we will refund all payments without delay, at the latest within fourteen days of receiving your notice of withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment for the refund as you used for the original payment.

Cancellation conditions
After the withdrawal period has expired, you can cancel your registration in writing (by email) before the start of the workshop. Non-attendance is considered a cancellation after the start of the event. After binding registration, the following fees apply, regardless of the reason:

Cancellation up to 6 weeks before the start of the event: 50% of the participation fee,
Cancellation up to 4 weeks before the start of the event: 75% of the participation fee,
In case of later cancellation or no-show: 100% of the participation fee.

For bookings made less than 2 weeks before the workshop, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply. In this case, 100% of the participation fees are always due in case of cancellation. You may name a replacement participant up to 48 hours before the start of the event, provided that they meet the participation requirements.

Seminar cancellation
If RISING GAZE GmbH causes a seminar to be cancelled (e.g. due to the lecturer falling ill at short notice), either an alternative date will be offered or the participation fee will be refunded in full.

If it is not possible to hold a workshop due to force majeure, we will offer a free rebooking. Force majeure shall be deemed to exist in particular if events occur due to elemental forces of nature or the actions of third parties which, according to human understanding and experience, were unforeseeable and could not be prevented by economically acceptable means, even with the utmost care.

Minimum number of participants
If a minimum number of ten (10) paying participants per date is not reached by the specified registration deadline for each workshop, RISING GAZE GmbH reserves the right not to hold the respective workshop. In the event that a seminar does not take place, any participation fees already received will be refunded; Personnel, material, travel and similar costs will not be reimbursed.

Copyright and liability
The documents provided are protected by copyright. The reproduction, distribution and commercial use of the documents is only permitted with the express prior written consent of RISING GAZE GmbH or the lecturers.

The documents provided in the seminars are compiled to the best of our knowledge and belief. Liability and warranty for correctness, topicality and completeness are excluded.
